Who?

J.C. Bello is a writer of heartfelt stories, an autodidact multi-instrumentalist composer under the artist name Xâ, and a multi-media painter. With little of his work online and minimal social media presence, he is a part of the movement to reintroduce analog art forms to future generation. He believes real and meaningful connection is made through authenticity, and nothing feels more real than reading a page written on a typewriter with typos in plain view or listening to an artist’s first take during improvisation.

As a composer, Xâ's creations are spontaneous, experimental and ephemeral, captured at the peak of passionate exploration, where a wrong key or string is hit at the wrong time and ends up becoming a part of music. Xâ’s cat, Mochi-baby, often makes appearances in stories and poems, and can even be heard singing along in the background of many improv recordings. Xâ’s hopes his work will work will leave a mark in the minds and hearts and hearts of those who experience it, lingering long past the last note or ending bell.
